There is nothing like reading a history or biography book and being so completely transported to another time and place that you find... To see what your friends thought of this book, It was such a happy day when I happened upon this Folio Society book filled with glorious illustrations, including reproductions of lovely oils paintings and stunning black and white photographs of the cathedral.
