The safety and health of all the participants, staff, families, and friends are the highest priority.
Unfortunately, as the City of Hamilton facilities are presently closed and may not re-open during the summer months, the league has been unable to have a 2020 season of ball hockey. HMBHL. The league will be continuing to monitor and assess the situation, with the guidance of public health authorities and our sport’s governing authorities. We all miss sports but are committed to making sure the return to sports is safe for everyone involved. All games are played at 9, 10, or 11 in the morning at Wentworth Arena's in Ancaster (West Hamilton), Ontario. Updates are also posted on the league website at www.hamiltonballhockey.com and as many members are aware, the league has been committed to replying to any member inquiries in a timely manner via email. The Province of Ontario has entered stage two of the re-opening phase and potentially could enter stage three in the future.
