The shipping could be very slow.I ordered on Jun 19, not received it yet. 86 minute wait to speak to someone at customer service and they are NEVER polite or helpful. Some of my things are sitting 1 city over from me, for 5(!) I have always loved how user friendly their site/app is, and they’re affordable! But, no more photo books for me after this. However, if I had seen that it was not a guaranteed delivery date of 8/4, would I really considered paying $24.99 for it so that by chance it will come before the need by date of 8/5? I used to LOVE Shutterfly, got great customer service, and the orders arrived within a week. DO NOT order from Shutterfly, there are plenty of other companies that do the same work, should have stuck with Snapfish. If they are already printed why are they not in the mail? And the blank white paper pages at the front and back of the book were somewhat flimsy and seem prone to tearing. He told me to download my photos to Shutterfly before trying to make the book. The caption at the top was trimmed as well. Text didn't fully print on the page even though it was correctly placed. They look beautiful and everything is spelled correctly. This should be a major concern if you're working with text. I ordered over 100 + photos and half were so off I cant do anything with them. The person said no but I could cancel and reorder the three photo books. OSTK, I’m happy with how my order turned out. They need to return to their core business -- providing the ability to choose a picture and have it arrive in the right size to your doorstep. Don't waste your time with a company who can't get something to you in a decent amount of time (or leave more than 2 1/2 weeks to order something from them.)
This is the first time that this has happened to me but it doesn’t make sense that I ordered 45 pictures the same day and got them on time. In a statement to PCWorld, a Shutterfly spokesperson said, "The barcode enables our manufacturing facilities to track our customers’ projects through the process to shipping." I would have cancelled it. But you can also choose to have your photo book sent in a gift box. I've never been ripped off and then treated so callus by a company of this size.
