Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, From The exhibition “Reshaped Reality: 50 Years of Hyperrealistic Sculpture” has currently taken over at the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taiwan, with the likes of Patricia Piccinini, Ron Mueck, and several others. The Gallery is now open. Ron Mueck is an Australian Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1958. If using fibreglass, individual hairs are glued into holes that have been drilled by hand. He honed his extraordinary skills in making lifelike figures during several years in film and television. This show in the Royal Scottish Academy Building included a newly commissioned work of a giant baby lying on the floor, as well as four important earlier sculptures.
